This album represents the first release from Madison Red & The Band That Time Forgot that is totally dedicated to original material. As a band with an archival bent that is dedicated to celebrating 20th Century jazz and blues, this disc represents the culmination of our efforts to bring some of the neglected song forms of said Century kicking and screaming into the new millennium. We have tried to capture the mood of the past by recreating some of its sonic conventions and then put them to work in songs that we hope will, in subject matter at least, resonate in the age of social media.
